Since 2003, annual EA-OHP subscription fees have been incorporated into the conference fee. All delegates who attended the Academy's 2003 conference in Berlin thus automatically paid their subscription for 2004 and may therefore pay on the 'member' scale.
Delegates who did not attend the 2003 conference in Berlin and have not paid a subscription fee for 2004 are required to pay according to the 'non-member' fee scale.
Delegates employed by an institution in a developing country as recognised by the official World Health Organisation list are entitled to a reduction in the conference fee.
A reduced fee for students has been introduced for 2004. Students wishing to take advantage of this must produce evidence of being a FULL-TIME POSTGRADUATE student, either on a taught or research degree. A letter from your university administrator to this effect should be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or sent to Maria Karanika, Institute of Work, Health & Organisations, William Lee Buildings 8, Nottingham Science & Technology Park, University Boulevard, Nottingham, NG7 2RQ, United Kingdom.
Two methods of payment are available:
- Credit Card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express
- Cheque. (this facility is only available for those paying in pounds sterling).
You can register for Oporto 2004 by emailing the registration form to [email protected].
Please note that for reasons of safety and health, and delegates' comfort, we
have to limit the number of delegates to a maximum of 250. Given the interest
generated by the tremendous success of the 2003 conference, we would strongly
encourage you to register early. For the sake of fairness, registrations will
be processed in strict order of receipt ("first come, first served"), and we will
only accept the first 250 delegates whose forms and payments are received.

Portugal's northern capital, Porto stands overlooking the estuary of the River Douro, along which boats have sailed for many centuries, carrying the traditional Port wine produced in the famous estates upriver. Its historical centre has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The classified area comprises the medieval area located inside the 14th-century Romanesque wall. It includes the oldest buildings in the city, as well as typical streets and attractive public areas. The city has recently undergone a programme of urban renewal to coincide with the occasion of Porto 2001 - European Cultural Capital.
